As a teacher, I would delight in designing my classroom for traffic-flow, student accessiblity needs and optimal student engagement. I also enjoyed igniting neurons by taking complex concepts and figuring out a variety of ways to make them accessible to diverse minds. Most especially, I loved working with my students to support them in their emotional development.

 

After leaving education, I found myself searching for a highly people-focused role that would combine design-thinking, iteration and collaboration.

 

Ultimately that led to me finding my match in User Experience Design, with a stopover in Content Marketing that allowed me to hone my writing skills and learn how to effectively use tone of voice to better engage audiences.
